Belgrade and Serbia will introduce themselves as hosts of the EXPO 2027 Specialised Exhibition during the Olympic Games within the Serbian House, in La Villette park in Paris.
This is an excellent opportunity to present EXPO 2027 Belgrade in Paris, the headquarters of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), which supervises expos. Given the theme “Play for humanity: sports and music for all”, the organisers expect great public interest in Paris.
On Friday, 2 August, starting at 11 a.m., visitors to the Serbian House will have the opportunity to see how play, through sports and music, can have a positive impact on humanity and respond to concrete challenges the world is facing. Dr Ranko Rajović, the NTC programme founder, will hold a lecture “Play and its importance for man and humanity”. Zoran Gajić, Minister of Sports in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, will address the attendees, after which there will be a panel discussion on the theme of EXPO 2027, in which Dušan Borovčanin, director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade; Mihailo Vesović, Director of Strategic Analyses, Services and Internationalisation Division at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce; Ivana Nešović, Serbian volleyball player; and Andrea Arsović, Serbian shooter, will take part.
From 30 July to 8 August, visitors will have an opportunity to see a virtual interactive activation connecting Paris and Belgrade – “Window to EXPO 2027”. One interactive window (screen) will be in the Serbian House, and the other in Belgrade. All visitors to the Serbian House will be able to communicate with the residents and visitors of Belgrade (near Ruski car at Kneza Mihaila Street) through play, movement and various fun games (memory, tic-tac-toe and parachutes) in real time. This activation will open up a specific space for play between Paris and Belgrade and thereby further emphasise the importance of the theme of the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027.
On 31 July, director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade, Dušan Borovčanin, will participate at the MEDEF International business forum, which is also held in the Serbian House, where he will have the opportunity to present the Specialised Exhibition and its importance for Serbia and the Serbian economy to the attendees and representatives of the influential and business community.
