Air Serbia will soon expand its fleet with a new wide-body Airbus 330-200, specially branded to promote the upcoming Specialised EXPO 2027 in Belgrade. The aircraft, adorned with the exhibition's distinctive colours and logo, will fly around the globe, inviting the international audience to mark their calendars for 15 May to 15 August 2027, when Belgrade and Serbia will host the largest event ever organised in this part of Europe.
This will be the first time such an event is held in the Western Balkans and it is expected to attract around 4 million visitors from over 120 countries. EXPO events aim to bring nations together in one place, offering visitors an unforgettable "journey" through the pavilions of participating countries, just as planes allow us to stay connected no matter where we are in the world.
"The 'EXPO 2027' plane will undoubtedly enhance Serbia's image worldwide and boost our tourism industry. We thank Air Serbia for their efforts and dedication in introducing the world to EXPO 2027 Belgrade, and for jointly presenting Serbia as an excellent host", said Dušan Borovčanin, Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade.
