At the Second Assembly of the Diaspora "Unity and Strength of Serbia", which brought together representatives of Serbs from the surrounding region, as well as 250 associations and organisations that unite our diaspora worldwide, the most significant projects to be realised in Serbia in the coming years were presented.
Speaking before those gathered at the National Assembly of Serbia, the Director of the company EXPO 2027 d.o.o., Dušan Borovčanin, emphasised that Expo 2027 Belgrade is the largest project ever organised in this region.
"In addition to its immense significance for the economy and tourism, Expo 2027 Belgrade represents a great potential to improve our country's reputation and establish various new forms of cooperation”, said Borovčanin.
Inviting representatives of the diaspora to use the period leading up to 2027 to promote the Specialised exhibition and thus help increase the visibility and number of visitors to the event itself, Borovčanin emphasised that Expo 2027 Belgrade is a project for all citizens of Serbia and an opportunity for the world to better understand our values and potential.
The event also addressed the topics "Economic Potential of Serbia EXPO 2027 – A Leap into the Future 2027 and the Role of the Diaspora", "The Role of the Diaspora in Preserving Cultural, Educational, National and Religious Identity", as well as "The Role of the Diaspora in Strengthening the International Reputation of the Republic of Serbia and Preserving National and State Interests".
