The first lady of Serbia, Tamara Vučić, and the absolute winner of the StemCo Olympiad, seventeen-year-old Andrej Drobnjaković, ended their memory game in a draw during the "Window to EXPO 2027" activation. In the context of the interactive, virtual activation "Window to EXPO 2027", which connects Paris and Belgrade during the Olympic Games, Andrej played the memory game from Knez Mihailova Street in Belgrade with Tamara Vučić, who was at the time in the Serbian House in Paris.
"Events like EXPO 2027 Belgrade are very important for technological, cultural, and industrial development, as well as for promoting tourism in our country and the participating countries of the Specialised Exhibition. Although I competed in five different disciplines at the StemCo Olympiad and won all of them, today I still played to a draw", said Andrej Drobnjaković, a second-year student at the Mathematical Grammar School, who earned the title of "absolute winner" at the international competition in mathematics, engineering, chemistry, physics, and biology, in which over 12,000 students from more than 45 countries participated.
The “Window to EXPO 2027” activation will be available to visitors until 8 August, and it opens a specific space for play between Paris and Belgrade, and thus further emphasises the importance of the theme of the specialised EXPO 2027 Belgrade exhibition, “Play for humanity: sports and music for all”. One interactive window is located in the Serbian House in Paris, and the other in Belgrade, at the beginning of Knez Mihailova Street. All visitors to the Serbian House can compete with the residents and visitors of Belgrade in real time through play, movement and fun games.
During his visit to the Serbian house in Paris, the Prime Minister of Serbia Miloš Vučević opted for the popular game of tic tac toe and played it with rower Nikolaj Pimenov, who was waiting for him on the other side of the window, in Belgrade. In this game, the Prime Minister won, but that did not discourage Nikolaj, and he earned his victory in the rounds he played against our Olympians who were in Paris at that moment.
As a reminder, EXPO 2027 Belgrade will be held in Belgrade from 15 May to 15 August 2027, and it is expected that more than 3 million visitors, as well as representatives from more than 120 countries, will gather in Belgrade during the 92 days of the event to present their views on the theme of the exhibition.
