The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, today attended the opening of the Serbian House in Paris, and was the first to try the “Window to EXPO 2027”, an interactive, virtual activation that connects Paris and Belgrade. He also played a popular game against kayaker Anđel Džombeta and taekwondo player Tijana Bogdanović, who were at that moment in Knez Mihailova street in Belgrade.
“This was a truly unique experience! Just like the Olympic Games are a unique experience in the life of every athlete. We are sure that it will be the same in three years in Belgrade, when we host EXPO 2027, and we are especially pleased that the focus of the theme of this exhibition is on sports”, our Olympians agreed.
The “Window to EXPO 2027” activation will be available to visitors until 8 August and will open a specific space for play between Paris and Belgrade, and thus further emphasise the importance of the theme of the specialised exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade, “Play for humanity: sports and music for all”. One interactive window is in the Serbian House in Paris, and the other in Belgrade, at the beginning of Knez Mihailova Street. All visitors to the Serbian House will be able to compete with the residents and visitors of Belgrade in real time through play, movement and fun games.
“Window to EXPO 2027” is just one of the many activities to present the EXPO 2027 Belgrade project in the Serbian House to visitors from all over the world, during the largest sports event.
As a reminder, EXPO 2027 Belgrade will be held in Belgrade during the period from 15 May to 15 August 2027, and it is expected that more than 3 million visitors, as well as representatives from more than 120 countries, will gather in Belgrade during the 92 days of the event to present their views of the theme of the exhibition.
